Collective Worship
We aim to provide a variety of worship experiences for the children. Our current schedule is as follows:
Monday
Whole School Worship led by the Headteacher (or a member of SLT).
Tuesday
Whole School Worship led by the Deputy Head or Worship Lead alongside the Year 6 Worship Team
Wednesday
Wednesday worship is either led by a class teacher who considers the values of a significant person, led by a class or an external speaker.
Thursday
Individual class collective worship, led by the Class Teacher. These assemblies follow the same theme, but content is differentiated appropriately. Picture News is used throughout the school to enhance children's understanding of worldwide events and topics. This develops our PSHE, SMSC and British Values teaching and supports our school ethos where everyone experiences the joy of learning.
Friday
Whole school values celebration and singing, with prayer/reflection time linked to the particular value, led by Head, Deputy, or SLT
