Year 4 2024 - 2025
Welcome back!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break.
We are jumping straight back into our lessons, with lots to do as this is only a short half term.
This half term we are welcoming Miss Kinsella back to the school and she will be in class with Mrs Davison on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
This half term we will be reading ' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' by C.S. Lewis in our English lessons. We are putting lots of time into learning our times tables as the National Multiplication Check is only five weeks away.
Our PE day is Monday, so make sure you come to school in your full PE kit, black shorts/ leggings/ tracksuit bottoms, your house colour PE top and a school hoody/ cardigan/ jumper. Sensible trainers are important to avoid injuries.
Our homework will be given out on a Friday and needs to be returned the following Friday please. You will have homework for spellings and times tables which can be accessed online and to be done daily. A few minutes a day will greatly increase your knowledge. We will also send home paper copies of the spellings. Daily reading is to be done and you can do this from your school reading books.
If you need any help with anything please do not hesitate to ask any of the adults in our class.
