Year 5 2025 - 2026
Welcome back to Year 5!
We hope you all had a wonderful summer and had a chance to enjoy the sunshine.
The Year 5 staff team includes, myself, Mrs McDonnell, Mrs Harvey, who is in class of a morning, and Miss McDonald who is class in the afternoon.
We are all raring to go to help and support your child develop and support them with the Year 5 curriculum.
P.E. is on a Tuesday afternoon, please make sure your child arrives wearing the appropriate school P.E. kit for the weather.
Homework will be given out on a Friday and is expected to be completed by the following Friday. Spelling tests will be on a Friday. This year your child will not have the daily opportunity to go onto devices to access TTR. This is expected to be done at home, a full 30 minutes over the week to ensure they keep that times tables knowledge fresh in their minds!
Please make sure that your child's lunch has been chosen on the app as we will no longer be able to choose it for them in class.
